In 1958, André Cuenoud began providing custom landscape contracting in the Scottsdale/Carefree area.
André’s focus was on providing breathtakingly unique environments coupled with the finest in customer
attention. By 1963, André incorporated the company, and began to service more of the Northeast Valley.
Landscaping by André, Inc., took its place as the Valley’s first choice for custom high-quality gardens.
In the winter of 1990, Steven Bollinger Sr. replaced André after his retirement. Under Steve, clients
doubled in number, thrusting the company again into the spotlight of the Greater Phoenix area. Steve would
later be named one of Arizona Business Magazine’s "Who to watch in 2000" as he revolutionized the landscape
experience for his customers. Today, the entire Landscaping by André team continues to serve the residents
of the Valley with expertise and quality care. We endeavor to serve our customers’ unique tastes, and provide
them with an outdoor living environment like no other.
